MANILA - Basketball star James Yap and his Italian girlfriend, Michela Cazzola, kept it simple when they celebrated the first month of their baby boy.

The Star Hotshots player shared an Instagram photo of him and Cazzola with a custom-made cake for their first child, Michael James. "Happy first month, baby MJ! I love you," he wrote as the caption.

Cazzola gave birth to Michael James last August 8. In a previous interview, Yap described him and Cazzola as "hands-on" parents, adding that he is very excited about becoming a father anew.
