Judging by this week’s turn of events, it looks September is going to be an exciting month for fans of “La Luna Sangre.”

Star Creatives has released a trailer for the next episode featuring Angel Locsin’s return.

She will portray what appears to be a completely new character named Jacintha Magsaysay, as opposed to her fan-favorite Lia, who, in the series’ current timeline, is believed to be dead.

“Para kang nakakita ng multo,” Locsin, as the heavily made-up Jacintha, told Sandrino, the show’s big baddie who killed both Lia and her husband Mateo (John Lloyd Cruz) early on.

Fans who have expressed their excitement over this twist, resulting in Locsin’s name being a trending topic on Twitter, will need to tune in to Thursday’s episode to learn more about Jacintha.

She is, however, being teased as a key figure in changing the lives of not only Sandrino, but also of Malia (Kathryn Bernardo), Lia and Mateo’s surviving daughter, as well as Tristan (Daniel Padilla).

“La Luna Sangre” airs weeknights after “Ang Probinsyano.”
