MANILA -- It's confirmed! Exes Robin Padilla and Sharon Cuneta will be doing a movie for Star Cinema.

On Monday at the press conference for her movie "Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha," which will have its commercial run starting September 6, Cuneta confirmed that she and Padilla will start shooting this month.

"Mas masaya 'yung movie na lalabas kasi iba ang raport namin ni Robin. It's a new story, totally new story. Dapat bagay kay Robin at sa akin... this is a romance-comedy," Cuneta said, referring to her shelved project with ex-husband Gabby Concepcion.

"I cannot wait because Robin is really my favorite person to work with. He's like my twin; ganyan ang tawagan namin, kambal. We are very much alike. My happiest shooting experiences have always been with Robin," Cuneta said.

Cuneta and Padilla starred in the 1991 box-office hit "Maging Sino Ka Man," "Di Na Natuto" and "Pagdating ng Panahon."

Cuneta also revealed that the new movie will be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina. "I'm very excited becasue I'm a big fan of Direk Cathy. I'm a fan of her movies," she said.

In a previous interview, Padilla said he has no conditions about working with Cuneta, noting that he owes a debt of gratitude to the singer-actress.
