MANILA – British actor Joe Dempsie completes the roster of Hollywood headliners to visit Philippines for the AsiaPOP Comi Con Manila 2016 (APCC).

Dempsie, known for his role as Gendry in the HBO hit series “Game of Thrones,” will be gracing the pop culture convention later this week.

He will join “The Originals” actress Claire Holt, "Stranger Things" child star Millie Bobby Brown and Nicholas Hoult, who plays the Beast in the "X-Men" films.

Dempsie also starred in the “Skins” and various British television series such as “Peak Practice,” “Doctors,” “Sweet Medicine” and “The Fades,” among others.

He also appeared in the movies “One for the Road,” “Heartlands: and “Monsters: Dark Continent.”

Meanwhile, the APCC is also set to unveil the first-ever Marvel showcase in Asia during the three-day pop culture event.

It will treat fans to the never-before-seen footage outside of San Diego Comic Con of Marvel’s upcoming “Doctor Strange” film, as well as content from Marvel’s television and web series.

Tickets for APCC, which will be held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City on August 26 to 28, are already available in all SM Ticket outlets.
