'MMK' to feature life story of Jake Zyrus

MANILA -- ABS-CBN's long-running drama anthology "Maalaala Mo Kaya" (MMK) will feature the life story of Jake Zyrus, formerly Charice, this coming Saturday, August 26.

On Monday, "MMK" released the trailer for the episode.

"Ako po si Jake Zyrus at ako po ay isang transman," the singer announced in the teaser.

In 2008, "MMK" already featured the life of Charice with Zsa Zsa Padilla playing the singer's mother Racquel Pempengco.
