MANILA - Australian actress Claire Holt will be making appearance at the upcoming AsiaPOP Comicon (APCC), a local pop culture convention happening from August 26 to 28.

Holt, best known for her role as the original vampire Rebekah Mikaelson in the CW supernatural drama "The Vampire Diaries," will be joining "Stranger Things" child star Millie Bobby Brown and Nicholas Hoult, who plays the Beast in the "X-Men" films.

Holt was added to the list of celebrity guests after "Teen Wolf" star Holland Roden and British actress Hayley Atwell backed out due to scheduling conflicts.

Prior to her role in "The Vampire Diaries," Holt rose to popularity as Emma Gilbert in the Nickelodeon series "H20: Just Add Water." She later went on to feature in films such as "Mean Girls 2," "Blue Like Jazz," and the hit series "Pretty Little Liars."

Holt is slated to appear next as Kate, a lead role in an upcoming underwater psychological thriller entitled "In the Deep." She is also working on the second season of critically acclaimed series, "Aquarius."

Tickets for APCC, which will be held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, are already available in all SM Ticket outlets.
