MANILA -- Billy Crawford will be hosting ABS-CBN's upcoming talent search "Pinoy Boyband Superstar," which will also feature Vice Ganda, Yeng Constantino and Sandara Park as judges.

"Ito 'yung first time na gagawin na bago sila makapag-perform with judges, they have to go through the audience first. So, malaki ang say ng madlang people for the show and we are going to find a new boy band here in the Philippines," Crawford explained on Monday after he signed a new contract with ABS-CBN.

Crawford said finding the next big boy band won't be easy.

"Kasi it's not all about the looks -- it's about the charm, about the performance. There are special technical aspects din ang mga judges na magagawa nila to save a performer from the audience. This is a new franchise and this is going to be wonderful and going to be exciting. The panel of judges are amazing," he added.

Crawford also hinted that a fourth judge will be formally announced later this week.

"May surprise pang isang paparating na judge. Sa Thursday pa nila malalaman. Kung tumutok sila, mababaliw ang mga tao," he teased.

Meanwhile, Crawford also announced that there will be another season of "Your Face Sounds Familiar," which he also hosts.

Crawford will also host ABS-CBN's version of "Dancing With The Stars."
