In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News’ MJ Felipe, Puth said he doesn’t really know anything about Soberano but he caught her movie while resting at his hotel room ahead of his concert over the weekend.

“I didn’t know who Liza was. I turned on the TV. I was relaxing on my hotel room and there was this very dramatic scene. I just had the idea of like, okay Charlie narrates on Snapchat,” he said.

“Everyone thought it was pretty funny. I’m just an idiot, it is what it is. I didn’t know who she was and now I do so I was like, ‘You might as well come to the show,’” he said.
