MANILA - Yassi Pressman, one of the stars of the upcoming comedy drama "Camp Sawi," revealed that she once thought of quitting her dreams of becoming a popular performer because of the criticisms she received.

"So many people bashed me down and I wanted to quit one time. I really did want to, and it was the same time that my heartbreak happened, so it was all going bad," she admitted in an interview on "Tonight with Boy Abunda."

However, the young actress, who did split with actor Sef Cadayona back in 2013, realized how much she wanted to dance onstage, saying: "Kapag nawala sa iyo, malalaman mo kung gaano kaimportante iyon sa iyo. And I really, really want it. And I'll try to learn every day to get there."

Pressman also talked about the rumors claiming she will soon sign with ABS-CBN following her stint as a celebrity housemate of "Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7."

She teased: "There's something and I'm so excited."
