MANILA - Hollywood child actress Millie Bobby Brown, who plays the enigmatic, shaven-haired Eleven in the Netflix series "Stranger Things," will be coming to Manila.

Brown will join "Teen Wolf" star Holland Rolden as the celebrity headliners of the second AsiaPOP Comicon (APCC), a local pop culture convention to be held from August 26 to 28 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

An autograph and photo session with the 12-year-old Brown, who has enjoyed much acclaim for her portrayal of a young telekinetic in the new sci-fi thriller, will be available at the event. She stars in the series opposite Winona Ryder and David Harbour.

Aside from her role in "Stranger Things," Brown was previously cast as a lead in the series "Intruders," alongside Oscar winner Mira Sorvino and John Simm. She has also featured in a number of cult favorites such as "Modern Family," "NCIS," and "Grey's Anatomy."

Other celebrity guests of APCC are expected to be announced in the days leading up to the convention.
