MANILA - Maja Salvador has exited "Ang Probsinyano," with the August 4 episode marking her last appearance on the hit primetime series.

Salvador is one of the original cast members of the teleserye, which has been changing actors and actresses to fit the current story arc. She played the role of a female police officer named Glen, who was earlier billed as the love interest of Cardo (Coco Martin).

She was later paired with John Prats. In the series, Glen bid her farewell to Cardo and the others as she headed back to her hometown in Botolan, Zambales to take care of her ailing mother.

On her Instagram account, Salvador expressed her gratitude towards her "Ang Probinsyano" family and her supporters. "Salamat sa suporta niyo at sa grabeng pagmamahal sa amin ni Coco. This is Spo1 Glenda Corpuz now signing off," she wrote.
