She's been hitting the gym hard since she was announced as the new Darna.

And it appears Liza Soberano is more than happy to share the results of her training as she took the stage for an "ASAP" show in Toronto, Canada over the weekend.

Ensuring her gym-honed physique was on full display, the "Dolce Amore" star wore a black crop top, which gave a generous glimpse of her incredible abs while completing her sporty look.

Quick to throw praise were fans of the teen actress, who said that she's well on her way to proving her doubters wrong over being picked for the coveted Pinay superhero role.

The decision to have her replace Angel Locsin, who had to back out due to injury, has been met with mixed reactions, with some noting Soberano's unimposing, lithe frame.

Soberano have already shrugged off these comments, promising that she will undergo all the necessary training in order for her to give the character justice. She also said that she wants to do all her stunts, which is why she is bent on getting into shape.
