MANILA - Talk about awkward. After "Pinoy Big Brother" celebrity housemate Elisse Joson admitted that she still could not so much as look at her former boyfriend, whose identity she kept secret following their breakup, the writers of the reality television show have decided to reunite the two inside the iconic house.

Young actor Jerome Ponce, the ex-boyfriend Joson was referring to, was announced on Saturday as the newest addition to the current batch of celebrity housemates.

Ponce told the hosts of "PBB" that he planned to apologize to Joson, who broke down in tears when she talked about their split. According to Joson, Ponce broke up with her because he wanted to concentrate on work.

"Sa totoo lang po, kapag nakikita ko po siya ay naalala ko po iyong dati," Joson shared. "Kahit na -try ko po siya tingan as ngayon, hindi ko pa rin po magawa."

Asked for his response to Joson's confession, Ponce said: "Never ko naman siyang kinahiya."

Ponce's entrance could not have been more ill-timed as Joson has began warming up to the idea of a "love team" with fellow housemate, Hashtags member McCoy De Leon.
