MANILA – Former couple Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson described their love scene in the movie “How To Be Yours” as something “magical.”

Agreeing that it is one of the best scenes in the movie, Anderson said the love scene was shot so tastefully that Alonzo’s beauty was too hard not to notice.

“Sobrang ganda ni Bea doon. Ang ganda ng ilaw, ng set-up, lahat. Simple lang ang description – magical. Napaka-magical niya,” Anderson said.

Alonzo, for her part, admitted she was initially scared to do it but eventually agreed.

“Si Dan Villegas iyan eh. Iba kapag siya 'yung gumawa ng love scene, talaga naman. Kinakabahan ako nung una pero they made me feel so comfortable. It helped na si Gerald 'yung kasama ko. He’s such a gentleman,” she said.

“Yun ang pinaka-nakakatawang love scene na ginawa ko sa totoong buhay kasi nagtatawanan lang kami. It was as if it was just another scene. It was as if hindi siya love scene. It was magical for me also. Ang ganda nung nakita ko. Ang ganda nung resulta,” she added.

Meanwhile, the two were also asked about how they feel now that a lot of people are rooting for them to get back together.

For Alonzo, she finds it “weird and surreal but very interesting.”

“Parang God moves in mysterious ways. Who would have thought na after six years, sasabihan kami ng mga tao na ‘Uy bagay kayo. May chemistry pala kayo.’ Kahit nga ako hindi ko mapaniwalaan nung pinapanood ko yung pelikula, in fairness may chemistry pala kami onscreen,” she said.

Although it makes him happy that people want them to be in a relationship again, Anderson said what matters more for him is how they really feel for each other.

“Ako kasi kahit dati pa, hindi naman ako masyado nakikinig sa mga sinasabi ng ibang tao. Kaya lang mahirap para sa akin kasi naaapektuhan 'yung livelihood namin, 'yung dreams namin. Ngayon, siyempre natutuwa ako na sinasabi nilang sobrang bagay kami but on a personal level, it doesn’t really matter. Ang importante is kung ano ang nararamdaman naming dalawa,” he said.

If there is something that developed between them while working on the film, Anderson and Alonzo said it is their rekindled friendship that they do not want to lose again.
