MANILA -- Singer Jovit Baldivino believes that his girlfriend Shara Chavez is already "the one" for him.

In an interview on Monday after the launch of Tunog Star Magic, Baldivino shared his happiness with Chavez who started as his fan before they became a couple last year.

"Sobrang proud ako sa kanya. Ang lakas ng loob niya at hindi siya natakot sa (sasabihin) ng iba. Hindi siya natatakot ma-bash o makabaaa ng 'di magandang comment, wala eh. Love ko siya," Balvidino declared.

But while they are happy being together, Baldovino said they are still not ready to settle down.

"Mag-iipon muna ako, magpapayaman muna kami. Pero sana siya na kasi napakabait niya," he said, adding that Chavez is also understanding and supportive of his work as a singer.

Moreover, Baldovino shared that his family gets along well with Chavez, who has no intention of joining showbiz.

Baldovino, who was part of the winning group Tres Kantos in the celebrity competition "We Love OPM," also denied allegations that Chavez is just using him.

"Hindi siya ganoon sa akin. Napaka-business-minded niya, tinuturuan niya ako sa business, kasi gusto niya ng magandang buhay," he said.
