MANILA – Jessy Mendiola steered clear of any intrigues involving the failed relationship of Angel Locsin and Luis Manzano, who is currently being linked to her.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News as seen in this video taken by entertainment site Push, Mendiola became emotional as she insisted that she did not cause the celebrity couple's breakup.

Mendiola said it hurts her every time people accuse her of being the third party because she would never ruin a relationship.

“It hurts kapag sinasabi nila na, for a lack of better term, ‘ahas’ ka. Wala lang, kasi labas ako sa kanila and what happened between the two of them. Yung amin, I think dapat labas na rin siya doon. Para sa akin, malinis ang kunsensya ko. Malinis ang puso ko,” she said.

The actress said it is also up to Manzano and Locsin if they want to settle their differences as long as they keep her out of it.

“Problema na nila 'yun, kung gusto nilang mag-usap about it or clear anything with each other, I think that’s their problem. Pero huwag nila akong isasali,” she said.
