MANILA - Actress Iza Calzado could not contain her excitement after she caught couple Joey Mead and Ian King, who recently came out as a trans woman, kissing.

"THIS IS LOVE!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ took a snap of these 2 people whose love for each other has amazed me through the years. Thank you for inspiring us with this kind of LOVE," Calzado wrote on the video in her Instagram page.

Calzado, a close friend of the couple, said she is happy that King is finally out.

"I am also very happy for your new found freedom @hailtothe_queen_ I am not surprised by the amount of love and support that people are giving you now. You are a good person and people love you no matter what gender you choose because you have always shown them (us) kindness and compassion. Traits which you got from your dad. I know that he's smiling in Heaven and he is so proud of and happy for you. (heart) Mad love and respect for you guys @hailtothe_king and @joeymeadking Mabuhay!!!," she added.

Last Saturday, King came out as a trans woman and is now using the name Angelina Mead King under the new Instagram handle @hailtothe_queen_. Her previous handle was @hailtothe_king_.

On Sunday, King expressed her gratitude to everyone for showing so much love and support.

King also shared a picture of her and Joey where she called the model her "rock and number one supporter."
