MANILA -- JC de Vera is on a roll.

Aside from regularly being seen on television from Monday to Friday through the ABS-CBN primetime series “Since I Found You,” he also has the gag show “Banana Sundae” every Sunday.

In addition to that, he still finds time to shoot an independent film.

As if his hands aren’t full yet, the actor is gearing up for the upcoming Kapamilya series “The General’s Daughter.”

Speaking exclusively to ABS-CBN News on Sunday, de Vera said he is excited about the series where he will play a soldier.

“Very, very serious and dedicated soldier ako. Very passionate. Binibigay ko lahat for my country, for my job. Mataas 'yung tingin ko sa ginagawa ko that’s why I am so passionate with everything I do,” he said of his character.

“Ako 'yung love interest ni Angel Locsin. Siya 'yung field medic namin, tapos ako 'yung captain niya,” he added.

The actor revealed that they will begin taping next month.

Aside from de Vera and Locsin, “The General’s Daughter” boasts a powerhouse cast, which includes Maricel Soriano, Eula Valdes, Janice de Belen and Albert Martinez.

Also reportedly part of the series are Paulo Avelino and new Kapamilya actress Ryza Cenon.
