MANILA – “Dolce Amore” star Matteo Guidicelli vehemently denied that his girlfriend, popular singer-actress Sarah Geronimo, is pregnant.

ABS-CBN News caught up with Guidicelli on Thursday fresh from the successful tour of their show in Europe last week.

Insisting Geronimo is not pregnant, the actor said: "Nakarating nga sa kin ‘yung balita and buntis daw siya. That’s not true at all.”

It was Geronimo’s manager, Viva Entertainment chairman Vic del Rosario , who first denied the rumors.

Guidicelli also discussed the supposed illness of his girlfriend after she announced that she will take some time off from showbiz to rest.

According to Guidicelli: "She was just feeling really bad the past few weeks like fever or something pero nothing serious. She just needs to rest."

Meanwhile, the actor shared that he really enjoyed their series of shows in Europe along with Liza Soberano, Enrique Gil, Enchong Dee and Bea Alonzo.

Guidicelli revealed that he is a big fan of the love team of Soberano and Gil and is amazed about how much their fans adore the team-up.

"I dont mind being a third wheel because who doesn’t want to be a third wheel to Liza and Enrique? Sobrang nakakaaliw 'yung mga fans nila. Noong nasa Europe kami, I would see their young fans sa front rows ng theater and the mommies at the back, nakakatuwa." said Guidicelli.

“Dolce Amore” airs every week nights after “Ang Probinsyano.” - report from MJ Felipe, ABS-CBN News
