MANILA – Nadine Lustre has emerged as the early frontrunner in the online poll for the annual "100 Sexiest Women in the World" list of FHM Philippines.

Instead of being overprotective of his girlfriend, James Reid is actually throwing his full support behind the actress.

“Is she [leading the poll]? Again? Oh my God. Well, I hope she wins this time. That’s good for her. Of course, I am proud. I’m not that type of person [who easily gets jealous]. I am proud. I hope she wins,” he said.

Last year, Lustre was also among the actresses who made it to the sexiest list.

Asked what he finds sexy about Lustre, Reid said: “She’s very confident. Physically, she has really nice legs and I love her collarbones. I don’t know why but it’s very feminine.”

Reid said Lustre has worked hard to achieve her physique and he couldn’t be any prouder of how she has maintained that discipline.

“It’s mainly dieting. She doesn’t work out that frequent, like maybe twice a week. [It’s the way she eats], maybe my habits have run off on her,” she said.

In a separate interview, Lustre shared how she lost a lot of weight but still maintains a sexy figure.

“Actually [si James] 'yung nagturo sa akin. What he told me was to do controlled eating. Kung malapit na ako mabusog, I stop eating na. Kahit medyo gutom pa ako ng kaunti or gusto ko pa kumain, I stop eating talaga. Super hirap kasi I’m a foodie. I like eating a lot,” she said.

Although she also has flaws, Lustre said she is happy with her body and that’s what’s important.

“Siguro masasabi ko my whole physique, for me, it’s sexy because I’m confident with my body. Sometimes, I think na I’m too thin na. I don’t have hips. The flaws that we have, I know it’s there but I still accept it. I’m just really confident with my body,” she said.
