MANILA (UPDATE) - Actress Azenith Briones was among those injured in the Resorts World Manila attack early Friday morning.

Eleuterio Reyes, Briones' husband, was reported as one of the 38 fatalities at around 5:50 p.m.

Briones said she and her husband were at the casino complex when the attack happened.

The actress, part of the cast of "Temptation Island," said she was buying food at around midnight when the incident happened.

"Alas-12 nangyari e.

She jumped from the 2nd floor to the ground floor and has not heard from her husband. Tapos ngayon wala pa sinasabi," she said.

A lone, armed suspect attacked the casino complex last night and torched casino tables before committing suicide.

Police have ruled out terrorism as a motive in the incident, which has left 37 people dead, including the gunman, mostly due to suffocation brought about by the fire. -- With a report from Zandro Ochona, ABS-CBN News
