MANILA -- Kapamilya actress Shaina Magdayao is joining the cast of the primetime series "The Story of Us" headlined by the love team of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim.

Magdayao confirmed the news as she posted her photos on set of the series on her Instagram account on Tuesday.

"Sa ngayon, ang masasabi ko pa lang is ....kulot siya," she said of her character Lucia Cristobal.

"Watch tomorrow and witness her story on #TheStoryofUsBook2 #soon Thanks #TSOU family for making me a part of your beautiful story," the actress added.

In an earlier post, Magdayao said she immediately accepted the role because she will be working with Cathy Garcia-Molina, one of the show's directors.
