MANILA - The acclaimed director behind the hit romantic comedy "That Thing Called Tadhana" will be making a film starring Jodi Sta. Maria, Richard Yap and Ian Veneracion, Star Cinema announced on Tuesday.

The untitled film from Antoinette Jadaone will be about the pains of a 30-year-old unmarried woman and the stigma that comes with being single at that age.

Jadaone, who also directed the hit primetime series "On the Wings of Love," added that the film will be light in tone, funny, and filled with kilig moments between the three central characters.

In the film, Sta. Maria plays Chinggay, an accomplished yet single woman in her 30s. The moment she decides to enter a new relationship, she meets Ryan (Ian Veneracion) the same time her former boyfriend (Richard Yap) comes back into her life.

Prior to this film, Sta. Maria has worked with both Yap and Veneracion. The actress topbilled the hit morning series "Be Careful with My Heart" with Yap, while she starred in "Pangako Sa 'Yo" alongside Veneracion.

Meanwhile, the 41-year-old Veneracion also admitted that he is thrilled to be paired once again with Sta. Maria, as well as working with Yap for the first time.
