Pokwang on Saturday was overcome with emotion as she begged off from "I Can Do That" to spend more time with her only daughter, Mae.

The comedienne said Mae will be moving to France for six months for an internship, and that she would love it if she could drop out of the show to focus on being a doting mom in the coming weeks.

"Ngayon ang importante po sa akin ay maglaan ako ng oras para sa anak ko," Pokwang, in tears, said. "Lahat ng pinagpaguran ko, napunta sa maganda niyang edukasyon. Iyon naman ang pangarap ko sa kanya bilang isang ina."

The waterworks was triggered by the revelation that Pokwang and her fellow celebrity contestant JC Santos were in danger of elimination after garnering the lowest number of scores since day 1.

Pokwang told the audience, who had the power to determine who will stay on the show, that they didn't have to vote.

"Pangarap ko rin naman para kay JC, bilang isang nanay-nanayan din niya, gusto ko na maipakita pa niya kung ano pa iyong kaya niyang ibigay sa inyo. Kaya nakikiusap po ako na ibigay niyo na po kay JC," she said.

With Pokwang's departure, the remaining contestants, Santos aside, are Sue Ramirez, Gab Valenciano, Wacky Kiray, Cristine Reyes, Arci Muñoz, and Daniel Matsunaga.
