A teen singer from Surigao del Norte has left the coaches of "The Voice Teens" gobsmacked on Saturday after "flawlessly" performing an intricate opera piece for her blind audition.

Mica Becerro, 17, sang an aria called "Queen Of The Night," bringing some of the coaches, such as Broadway star Lea Salonga, to their feet.

"You deserve this four-chair turn," Salonga told the young soprano, before surprisingly turning emotional as she recalled the time the so-called "classical technique" in singing saved her voice.

A producer of the show, however, referred her to a vocal coach, who then taught her the importance of discipline.

According to Salonga, she was going five to eight shows a week then. She said she wants to pass on what she learned from that experience to Becerro, whom she also lauded for her incredible vocal control.
