It's difficult not to get drawn in by the tenderness of the new trailer for "Never Not Love You," the forthcoming movie starring James Reid and Nadine Lustre set to hit cinemas on March 31.

Released Friday, the new video manages to create a moving contrast between the dangers of being reckless in love, and the earnest theme of the song "Prom," about taking risks for love.

It's shown through the film's young lovers, Gio (Reid) and Joanne (Lustre), who are seen having a more muted fight compared to the one they had in the first trailer about career decisions.

"Basta magkasama tayo, wala kang dapat ikatakot," Gio tells Joanne, as the chorus to the Ebe Dancel hit provides the background tune to the touching scene of them hugging.

The film is directed by Antoinette Jadaone, best known for the cult classic, "That Thing Called Tadhana."
