MANILA – In a rare moment, Cristine Reyes spoke briefly about her husband, Ali Khatibi, amid their rumored split.

“We’re civil,” the actress said in an interview on ANC’s “Headstart” aired Friday.

“We’re in good terms, especially with things we have to do when it comes to Amarah,” she added, referring to their daughter.

When asked by “Headstart” anchor Karen Davila about her views on marriage, Reyes replied: “Ideally, it shouldn’t end, but it depends on the circumstances… But for me, if you’re not happy, you should do something about it.”

Reyes stars in the movie “Maria” which will be released on March 27. The actress wants to do more films of this kind, saying she is tired of portraying sexy roles.

“I’m tired of doing sexy roles. So when I got this role, I’m like, ‘whoa, I want to do this,’” she said.
