MANILA — "ASAP" Birit Queens will have their first major concert as a group at Mall of Asia Arena on March 31.
The all-female group, which includes "ASAP" singers Angeline Quinto, Jona, Morissette, and Klarisse, faced reporters and bloggers in a press conference on Thursday.
Since each of them is an established name in the local music industry, some are wondering if they're trying to outperform each other.
Klarisse, the first to take the microphone, said "ASAP" producers make sure the "Birit Queens" undergo rehearsals where they are assigned their respective parts.

Quinto said it's about playing each of their roles well.
"Hindi naman po uso sa amin ang sapawan. Actually, 'yong sinabi ni Klang (Klarisse) totoo 'yon. Kasi may sari-sarili kaming parts na ginagawa sa mga kanta namin so hindi puwedeng kukunin namin 'yong part ng isa," she said.
Quinto said they are not allowed to choose which parts to sing. "Lahat ng parts na kinakanta namin ay ina-assign po sa amin," she said.
According to Klarisse, each member tries to help one another when one of them is not in the right condition to perform. "Minsan talaga may sipon ka o ubo o sore throat," she added.
Quinto, meanwhile, jokingly said she doesn't really mind who among them earns the loudest cheers and applause as long as they get a fair share of the earnings.
"Basta sana po sa aming apat, pantay-pantay lang po 'yong TF (talent fee) OK na. Kahit sino pa ang una at huli, OK na sa amin, basta kaliwaan po," she said.
Tickets of the "ASAP Birit Queens" concert are now available at SM Ticket outlets. You may also call 470-22-22 or log on to www.smtickets.com.
