MANILA - Former sexy actress Aya Medel, who was known as "Papaya Queen" in 1990s because of her voluptuous body, gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Valentine's Day via cesarean section, she revealed on her Facebook account.

"GOD gave me a perfect gift exactly on Valentine's Day! Thank you so much Lord," Medel, now a chef and an entrepreneur, said in the caption of the photo of her second child, Simon Grey.

She also shared: "I had bleeding at 35weeks so my OB, Dra. Grace Lao insisted that I should check myself in the hospital and get ready and I told her I want pfannensteil incision."

"I got scared and nervous inside the OR were I was under a spinal anesthesia but I go through it with the help of my anesth Dr. Ferdinand Lao and the song On the Wings of Love by Kyla played from Dra. Buitizon's music player kept me calm."

"My sister Niezl was there to capture the scary but life changing operation I had in my life-the birth of my second child, my son, SIMON GREY HAYAKAWA. To all who helped me to have a safe delivery, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!"

In 2002, Medel left showbiz after meeting Japanese businessman Yoji Hayakawa. She then married Hayakawa, who is nine years her senior, in Japan, and had a daughter with him named Ishi.
