Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil's newest romance flick "My Ex and Whys" crossed the P200 million mark.

Star Cinema said the movie reached the threshold on Thursday, February 23.

It is currently showing in cinemas nationwide and in some select screens in the US, Canada, and the Middle East.

"My Ex and Whys" premiered last February 15, earning a whopping P31 million for its first day. The teen flick about a former playboy wanting to prove to his ex that he's a changed man went on to break the P100 million milestone Saturday afternoon.

It now holds the distinction of being the most successful movie topbilled by Gil and Soberano.

Their previous silver screen outings --"Just the Way You Are" and "Everyday I Love You" -- both ended its box office runs just above the P100 million mark.

"My Ex and Whys" is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
