Maja Salvador had the rumor mill grinding after hinting that one of her past boyfriends couldn't handle the tricky balancing act of focusing on career while keeping a healthy relationship.

Salvador spoke to reporters during a press conference held for her new afternoon revenge drama "Wildflower".

Asked if she can handle the same problem, she said: "Ako, kaya ko namang magbalanse.

One of Salvador's high-profile relationships was with Gerald Anderson. Both of them never revealed the reason behind their split, which led to speculations in 2015.

While she didn't mention Anderson during Tuesday's press conference, many were quick to insinuate the connection, considering that the actor was her last public relationship.

Anderson is currently being romantically linked with Bea Alonzo, whom Salvador said she has no problem with.

Salvador and Anderson first revealed their breakup two years ago. The actress admitted she felt crushed when their relationship fell apart, but has since repeatedly insisted she has moved on.

"Wildflower" airs every weeknight before "TV Patrol."
