MANILA - Rosanna Roces is getting married to a lesbian, the former sexy star revealed in an interview on "Tonight with Boy Abunda" on Wednesday.

The 43-year-old Roces, who did not identify her partner, happily shared the news to talk show host Boy Abunda.

Abunda earlier spoke against Manny Pacquiao's criticism of people in same-sex marriages as "worse than animals."

"I found my match," Roces said. "Alam mo kung paano ako magpalit ng lalaki noon, parang nagpapalit lang ng damit. ...Parang may something missing. So ayun, nakita ko na iyong something missing."

She did not say when and where they will get married.

Roces said she and her partner first became a couple back when she was 15 years old. But their relationship hit a snag when she decided to get pregnant.

"Akala niya mahal ko iyong tatay ni Grace," said Roces, who was referring to her eldest daughter. "Which is not kasi ginamit ko lang talaga siya para magkaroon ng baby na palalakihin namin."

"So naghiwalay kami. Pero after noon, wala na akong naging seryosong relasyon. Parang may kulang eh. Alam kong hindi ito," she added.

After 27 years, Roces again met her partner. "Kapag pala tinatama mo ang buhay mo, lahat pala ng mga bisyo mo na hindi mo gusto nandiyan, kusang mawawala with the help of the Lord. God hates the sin not the sinner," she said.

Same-sex marriage is not allowed in the Philippines where more than 80 percent of the 100 million population is Roman Catholic.

The issue triggered a debate among Filipinos after the comments of boxer-politician Pacquiao.

He has apologized for his controversial remarks, but maintained that he is against same-sex marriage.

Roces also talked about her return to television. She was handed a role in the upcoming episode of "Ipaglaban Mo", which will also star Neri Naig, Francis Magundayao, Jun Jun Quintana, and Allan Paule.

"Thanks to ABS-CBN for giving me a chance na makatrabaho iyong magagaling na artista at direktor dito," said Roces.
