It's a Valentine's Day to forget for viewers of "Ang Probinsyano."

Alyana (Yassi Pressman) leaves Cardo (Coco Martin) in Wednesday's episode, claiming that she doesn't know him anymore.

There are tears as Cardo apologizes for disappearing on her and pleads for his wife to stay. But Alyana remains stubborn with her decision, daring him: "Kung mahal mo ako, tapusin na natin ito."

The episode starts with Alyana being abducted by an unknown group of men. Her cry for help is answered by her office boss, Marco (JC Santos), who has been showing signs of slight interest in her, instead of Cardo.

Wanting to ensure she's safe, Cardo seeks out Alyana, whom he hasn't been with as he continues to act as a vigilante to stop a rebel group. And while she understands that he only wants to keep her safe, their time away from each other finally got to Alyana.

"Napapagod din ako. Kahit ano'ng pilit kong magpakatatag, hindi ko na kaya. Kahit na mahal na mahal kita," she told him.

She also acknowledges that her and her family's lives will be in constant danger if she continues to be seen with Cardo. She pushes him away as he tries to hug her, signalling the end of their marriage.

According to Kantar Media, the heartbreaking episode was watched by 38.4% of the country's total TV audience.

While lower than the Tuesday episode (41%), it was still enough to top its rival show, "Sherlock Jr.," and its 17.5% rating.
