"Sobrang saya ko kasi kahit after kong mawala sa Star before, lagi kong naaalala kung saan ako nanggaling. At karamihan sa break na nakuha ko ay galing din dito with Star. At lahat ng mga taong nakatrabaho ko, ilan sa pinaka-memorable na tao at hindi ko nakakalimutan ay mga tao na tumulong sa akin [dito]. I'm very, very happy to be back," he said.

"Ako po ay down to my last two songs sa aking album, ang title po ng album ay 'Sukli'. Ganoon pa rin po 'yung mga tema ng kanta -- it's about the stories of people, 'yung mga Filipino, 'yung mga pinagdadaanan natin sa araw-araw," he said.
