MANILA – Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo are eager to go on a vacation but the two are holding off plans for now because of work.

The two are the lead stars of "La Luna Sangre," an ongoing fantasy series that airs primetime on ABS-CBN.

“Ang dami na naming plano. Ang dami na naming dapat gagawin pero hindi namin magawa. Wala tayong magagawa dahil every day 'yung 'La Luna' talaga. Sa weekends, we have 'ASAP.' Saturdays, may mga [endorsements]. So saan pa ilalagay?” he told ABS-CBN News’ MJ Felipe.

Nonetheless, Padilla shared that he and Bernardo really intend to go on a much-deserved break after their show ends.

“I think after ‘La Luna,’ doon namin babawiin lahat ng isang todo,” he said. “Medyo malapit na kami matapos [sa La Luna]. Maybe two months. Kasi may mga ibang papalit na rin.”

Recent episodes of “La Luna Sangre” saw Padilla cheat death after being revived as a vampire. He is now scheming a plot to save humanity, but at the cost of his own race and the life of the one he loves, Bernardo's Malia.

After going on a vacation, Padilla announced that he and Bernardo will make a movie. The two were last seen together on the big-screen in last year's "Can't Help Falling in Love," although Padilla starred in "Gandarrapido: The Revenger Squad" with Vice Ganda for the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival.

“Ready na rin kami ni Kathryn para sa isang movie. Second week of March, may alis lang kami. May show kami sa States. Pagbalik ko, birthday ko pa kasi. After ng birthday ko, shoot na ng movie. Exciting siya,” he said.

Padilla provided no other details as to their upcoming movie. However, it was earlier reported that Cathy Garcia Molina will direct the film.
