MANILA - Angelica Panganiban, dubbed local cinema's "Queen of Hugot" for her string of heartbroken roles, appears to wear her heart on her sleeve in real life as much as her onscreen characters.

In the latest episode of #AskAngelica, a YouTube series where the 31-year-old actress gives relationship advice, Panganiban fearlessly, and candidly, referenced her personal experience in addressing a list of questions.

One dilemma, in particular, reminded her of a situation she is privy to, but did not fully detail. Addressing a general "third party" who ends up ruining a relationship, she said: "Tigilan niyo 'yung may mga asawa, tigilan niyo 'yung may mga ka-relasyon na. 'Pag may ka-relasyon na, huwag niyo pilitin sirain.

"Maghanap kayo ng iba. Ang daming lalaki, ang daming babae. Huwag niyo guluhin 'yung mga taong masasaya. Ano, nagkaubusan ng lalaki? Pag may relasyon na, may relasyon na! Huwag niyong inaagaw."

From speaking in general terms, Panganiban shifted to alluding to her own situation, vaguely mentioning that her partner was stolen from her.

"Tapos kung makapag-post kayo, akala niyo mga wala kayong sinaktan," she said. "Kunyari masaya kayo, e 'di wow! Parang hindi ka inagawan. Excuse me, ha! Inagaw mo lang 'yan sa 'kin! Tapos ikaw pa ang proud. Tigilan niyo 'yan."

Panganiban sang a similar tune in the previous episode of #AskAngelica, where she hinted that a third party ruined a past relationship of hers. "Unang-una, hindi ako pinalitan. Pinilit, e. Pinilit sirain 'yung relasyon, kaya may galit," she said at the time.

ON TRUSTING AGAIN

Another question in the new episode, on the topic of regaining trust, also got a spirited reaction from Panganiban, who has been open about a recent heartbreak frequently brought up in her interviews.

"Never," she said, sternly, on whether to trust again someone who has already broken it. "Iyon ang sagot ko. Never talaga. Kasi, trust 'yan, e."

What she said next, a pun on the word "trust," triggered laughter. "Iyon nga, e, hindi sila nag-trust. Kaya iyon ang kinalabasan. Bibili sila ngayon ng mga gamit pambata!"

A public figure with a showbiz career spanning 25 years, Panganiban has made no secret of her past romantic relationships. Three of her past boyfriends include fellow film stars Carlo Aquino, Derek Ramsay, and John Lloyd Cruz.

Cruz, her most recent boyfriend, is now rumored to be expecting a child with actress Ellen Adarna.

"Pag dating sa akin, malaking bagay kasi ang pagbibigay-tiwala," Panganiban continued. "Binigay mo 'yan ng buong-buo, e. Binigay ko 'yan sa 'yo nang purong-puro. Kapag nilamatan mo 'yan, hindi mo na 'yan makakalimutan. Lagi na 'yang may scar."

This advice tied to another answer of Panganiban to a dilemma on whether to get back together with an ex-partner. Her tip: "Magkatapawaran na lang kayo, pero 'yung bigyan mo pa siya ng chance, ano siya sinisuwerte? 'Yung chance, ibigay mo sa others."
