Nadine Lustre denied that her upcoming movie with James Reid has been shelved as a result of repeated filming delays.
Fans feared that the project was cancelled after its director, Antoinette Jadaone, openly lamented the postponed shooting dates in a blog post she wrote and posted online.
"Tuloy na tuloy," assured Lustre when asked on Friday's "Tonight With Boy Abunda" whether the movie is still in development.
She also took the blame for the delays, sharing that she has been dealing with health issues as a result of her finding out that she has an inverted cervical curve in her neck and scoliosis.
"Super sakit siya," she said.
Earlier this week, Jadaone first brought to light her frustrations about the "erratic" shooting dates for a film project she did not name, but which many have speculated to be "Never Not Love You" with Lustre and Reid.
"Sayang, andun na ang momentum eh," the filmmaker wrote. "More and more shooting days cancelled – some reasons more heartbreaking than others, so heartbreaking they make me cry."
