It's a Friday the 13th to remember for fans of Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano, as Star Cinema released the first teaser for the much-anticipated "My Ex and Whys," the pair's first movie since 2015.

Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, the flick follows the story of two teenagers as they struggle to find the answer to the question, "Why do you still love someone who has hurt you?"

And while the premise sounds a tad bit dramatic, the trailer is not. It shows a half-naked Gil and a sheepish Soberano pretending to make out, making awkward sounds and all, after being trapped in a closet by their friends.

"My Ex and Whys" is Gil and Soberano's third movie as a love team. Their previous movies — "Everyday, I Love You" and "Just the Way You Are" — are considered box-office hits after grossing more than P100 million nationwide.
