Weddings often remind us how powerful love is.

So when Ysabel Ortega saw her mother, Michelle Ortega, walk down the aisle, the teen actress just couldn't keep her eyes dry.

"All my life, I have always had my 'Wonder Woman' right next to me, protecting me from everything that can harm me," she began her note for her mom and Michelle's husband, Greg Pimentel.

Sharing on Instagram a photo of her in tears at the ceremony, held earlier this week in Baguio, Ysabel continued by saying that it was because of her mother that she is "happy," "loved" and "strong."

She then credited her dad for helping her find "a love I never thought I needed," and wrote: "Thank you, Tito Greg, because you finally gave my mother the happiness that she deserves."

"And we are here to show you that we will love you and take care of you because that is also what you deserve. Now you are with us. Thank you for completing us," she concluded.

Ysabel is the daughter of Michelle with former senator and action star Lito Lapid. She is best known for her role in "On the Wings of Love," topbilled by Nadine Lustre and James Reid in 2015.

The wedding between Michelle, an ex-singer who is currently an executive of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, and Pimental, a police director, was held last Wednesday.

It had a number of high-profile attendees, including President Rodrigo Duterte himself.
