Maja Salvador hasn't fronted a film in nearly two years, but that's all set to change with the release of "I'm Drunk, I Love You," a quirky romantic comedy produced by the same studio behind the acclaimed historical biopic "Heneral Luna."
In the film, which debuted a brand new trailer on Wednesday, Salvador stars opposite Paulo Avelino as college students who decided to take one last road trip to La Union before graduation to settle their feelings for each other.
Close to giving up, Carson (Salvador) finds herself falling for her college buddy again as they go on a journey up north while striking up conversations about their future and bagnet.
Directed by JP Habac, the film also stars Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Dominic Roco, Irma Adlawan, and Jim Paredes. Produced by Tuko Film Productions and Buchi Boy Entertainment, "I'm Drunk, I Love You" will be released in theaters a day after Valentine's Day.
