MANILA - After more than decade, host-singer Nikki Gil is saying goodbye to MYX Philippines. The 28-year-old Gil on Friday posted her farewell message on her Instagram account.

She wrote as the accompanying caption to a photo of her and Luis Manzano: "Watching my 17-year-old self in a painfully awkward audition for MYX 11 years ago. My, how time flies!"

"Haaaaaaay thank you for watching me grow up on MYX, I assure you the next bunch of VJs are nothing short of awesome. Love you MYX PH family and for the last time, 'this has been VJ Nikki, see you guys next time!" Gil, who recently got married, added.

For his part, Manzano posted a photo of him and Gil on his Instagram page. The caption read: "Just finished taping VJ [Nikki Gil's] MYX farewell episode. Wow, what an afternoon! A conversation full of memories, smiles, laughter and tears."
