MANILA - Raymond Racaza of Xurpas Inc. believes that the hardships he and his business partners had to go through helped build the company into what it is now.

"Back then, we're a bunch of guys, early 20s, happy developing. We're happy programming, we're happy doing what we love, which is developing programs and apps," Racaza told ANC.

He also admitted that they used to work inside an office that looks like a garage, and had to skimp on meals just to support their company.

"It goes down to the dedication, of how we wanted to make it work. It was unwavering belief in the product, unwavering belief in the vision that we had. That DNA is how Xurpas is today. We were wired in such a way that we couldn't afford a fancy office, we couldn't afford fancy meals then," he said.
