MANILA - The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas said Friday it was issuing P10 commemorative coins to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Gen. Antonio Luna, who led troops in the Philippine-American War.
MANILA - The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas said Friday it was issuing P10 commemorative coins to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Gen. Antonio Luna, who led troops in the Philippine-American War.
One side of the coin features a portrait of Luna, whose life story was the subject of the surprise hit film "Heneral Luna" in 2015. The other side features the general on a horse.
