MANILA - Cebu Pacific said Thursday it would offer an additional 25 kilos in baggage allowance free to those who will pre-purchase 40 kilos in allowance for flights between Manila and Guam.
The country's largest airline said it offered the promotion for pre-Christmas shoppers to the US territory in the Pacific. It will run from September until Dec. 15.
The 65-kilo total baggage allowance is the rough equivalent of a "balikbayan box," the airline said in a statement.
"There’s less reason to worry about excess baggage, and more reason to complete the holiday shopping,” said Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing Candice Iyog.
Cebu Pacific flies up to thrice weekly between Manila and Guam.
