MANILA -- Grab said Wednesday it was "close to finalizing" voluntary commitments aimed at resolving concerns raised by the country's antitrust watchdog.

Negotiations with the Philippine Competition Commission are ongoing, according to Grab, which acquired Uber's Southeast Asia operations.

Grab said it last met with the PCC on Monday.

"We are set to meet with PCC again within the week, but we will defer to the Commission's good judgment in sharing with media what were discussed in the deliberations," said Grab spokesman Leo Gonzales said.
