MANILA - Ride-sharing service Uber on Tuesday paid the P5 million fine the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) had meted the firm and competitor Grab for alleged violations of their license.

Uber and Grab were both fined P5 million each by the LTFRB last week for violating the terms of their accreditation and for adding new units despite a government moratorium.
