MANILA - President Rodrigo Duterte will meet with Thai businessmen and economic managers during his official visit to the Southeast Asian nation on Tuesday, a Cabinet official said.
Duterte is in Bangkok for a two-day visit aimed at strengthening economic ties.
"We will be having some kind of a round table discussion with all the CEOs here (in Thailand) together with economic managers as well as the president," Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez said in an interview on ANC.
Three bilateral agreements on science and technology, tourism and agriculture are expected to be signed during this visit.
These include a five-year program for tourism cooperation from 2017 to 2022, an implementing arrangement on cooperation between Thailand’s Department of Livestock Development and the Philippine Carabao Center and another deal on science and technology.
