‘The Score’: Why it’s a mistake to sleep on Aldin Ayo, UST

University of Santo Tomas' statement win over University of the Philippines and its near upset of defending champion Ateneo has proven that Aldin Ayo's Growling Tigers are one of the teams to watch this season.

In an interview on "The Score," former Ateneo Lady Eagle Danica Jose, former UP Maroon Jett Manuel and basketball analyst Boom Gonzalez pointed out how UST was off the radar coming into UAAP 82.

"Nobody talked about UST much in the offseason. A lot of people talked about UP. Even if the dynamics were great, we saw the 10-month practice session of Aldin Ayo obviously was in effect," said Gonzalez. -- The Score, ABS-CBN Sports+Action, Sept. 12, 2019
