Glitch in vote machines mar Utah polls

Voting machine problems in southern Utah forced poll workers to use paper ballots, potentially affecting tens of thousands of people, election officials said.

Utah Director of Elections Mark Thomas confirmed a programming problem has affected all voting in Washington county and election workers were trying to fix the computer glitch.
