South's Korea's newly-elected president Moon Jae-in's promise to take on big business or the "chaebols" in his country is "positive messaging" for international investors according to The Economist's South Korean bureau chief Stephanie Studer.

But how Moon is going to do this will be a challenge said Studer.

Studer added that the youth in South Korea are calling for change, and this for Moon could mean allowing two presidential terms and giving more power to the national assembly.

"I think the appetite for change is there, it will be difficult for him to backtrack on that," said Studer.
